Tässä teoksessa ballerina kuvaa herkkyyttä – ihmistä, joka ei vain näe ympäröivää maailmaa, vaan myös aistii sen syvästi.

Hän huomaa pienetkin sävyt, tunnelmien muutokset ja ympäristöstä tulevat ärsykkeet. Värit, valo, äänet, ihmisten tunnetilat ja tilan ilmapiiri voivat koskettaa herkkää ihmistä tavalla, jota muut eivät aina huomaa.

Ballerinan hentous ei kuitenkaan kuvaa heikkoutta. Herkkyydessä on oma voimansa. Se on kykyä nähdä hienovaraisia yksityiskohtia, tuntea syvästi ja vastaanottaa maailma tavallista monikerroksisemmin.

Teoksen värit ja kerrokset ikään kuin ympäröivät ballerinaa ja kulkeutuvat häntä kohti. Hän seisoo niiden keskellä avoimena ja herkkänä – mutta samalla vahvana.

Herkkyys ei ole vain sitä, että maailma koskettaa sinua syvemmältä. Se on myös lahja nähdä maailmassa enemmän.

In this work, the ballerina represents sensitivity – a person who does not merely see the world around her, but experiences and senses it deeply.

She notices subtle nuances, shifts in atmosphere and stimuli from her surroundings. Colours, light, sounds, the emotions of others and even the atmosphere of a space can reach a sensitive person in ways that others may not notice.

Yet the delicacy of the ballerina does not represent weakness. There is strength in sensitivity. It is the ability to perceive subtle details, to feel deeply and to experience the world in many layers.

The colours and textures surrounding the ballerina seem to flow towards her. She stands in their midst open and sensitive, yet quietly strong.

Sensitivity is not only about being touched more deeply by the world. It is also the gift of seeing more within it.
